settlement. "

Tax Preparer: "What is this MSU expense you want to deduct for your farm."
Client: "That's my Mobil Security Unit expenses to protect the fruit trees on my farm."
Tax Preparer: "What's a Mobil Security Unit? What expenses do you have?"
Client: "My cat eats the gophers which eat the roots of the trees -- the vet bills."
Tax Preparer: "Your lodging & meals expenses for the move Florida to California seem to be high. Can you explain?"
Client: "It took me four weeks to travel across country."
Tax Preparer: "Why did it take so long?"
Client: "I rode my horse -- he refuses to ride in a horse trailer."
New Client: "Can you help me? IRS sent me a letter asking me to prove I'm entitled to file as Head of Household."
Tax Preparer: "When you prepared your return you failed to put the name of the person who qualified you. What is the name of your child?''
Client: "I don't have any children. I live alone and therefore I am The Head of My Household."
