POSTAL ENDORSEMENTS ON MAILING FLAP

Tax News & Tips does not charge to imprint the postal endorsement on the mailing flap of personalized orders.

Postal Services provided when mail includes a "postal endorsement" on the mailing flap.

Note: If the address on the piece of mail has been changed more than 12 months prior to mailing, or the weight of the piece of mail is over one ounce both services and costs differ. Contact your postmaster for details and current pricing.

May we recommend:

• Mail is Only Forwarded, if post office has new address. (No notice of change of address to you):
                 First Class - No endorsement.
                 Bulk Mail - Use either FORWARDING service or ADDRESS service.
                                  No cost, unless returned undeliverable, then the Post Office cost is $0.80.

• Notice of Change of Address Only (No forwarding):
                 First Class - Use RETURN Service. No cost. Mail is returned with notice.
                 Bulk Mail - Use RETURN service, Post Office cost is $0.32, mail is returned with notice.
                                   Use CHANGE service, Post Office cost is $0.50, mail not returned.

• Forwarding of mail and Notice of Change of Address sent to you:
                First Class - Use ADDRESS Service. Post Office Cost is $.50. Mail not returned.
                                   No cost if mail is undeliverable.
                Bulk Mail - Not available for bulk mail, i.e. Standard Mail (A).

FACTORS YOU SHOULD CONSIDER:
I . Do you want the mail forwarded?
2. Do you want to receive a notice of a new address?
3 .Do you want to receive a notice if the mail is undeliverable?
4. Do you want the mail returned to you?
5. Are you mailing only to your clients? Less chance of undeliverable mail.
6. Are you mailing to prospective clients? Undeliverable mail may be greater than if mailing only to your clients.
7. Does the mail weigh one ounce or less, or is it over one ounce? Tax News & Tips weighs less than an ounce even if mailed with a one page insert, or if mailed in a #10 envelope. If you mail the newsletter with a "client organizer”", etc. the mail may be more than one ounce.
