• After downloading Adobe Reader and BEFORE you launch the installer make sure you
  1. Uninstall prior versions of Adobe Reader
  2. Restart Windows and be sure no other programs are running.

• For full instructions on using the Adobe Reader see the Adobe Reader Online Guide, which can be found in the file READER.PDF in the Help folder which is in the same folder as the Adobe Reader. When using Adobe Reader, selecting the Help > Reader Online Guide menu will open READER.PDF automatically.
